Economics Research Pyramid Scheme

This program expands research opportunities for faculty, PhD students, and undergraduates through a multi-year, structured engagement. Undergraduate students participate in a comprehensive research experience that spans three quarters during their sophomore and junior years.

In the Fall quarter of their sophomore year, PhD students train undergraduates in essential research skills, guided by faculty members. During their junior year, undergraduates work as research assistants under direct faculty supervision during the Winter and Spring quarters. Students receive stipends for their participation and contribute an average of 5 hours per week.

Funded by a generous donation from an anonymous donor, the program initially supports around 18 undergraduate students.
