Giving to the Department of Economics
The Department of Economics houses one of the largest undergraduate programs on campus. Our faculty members are at the forefront of economic research and are dedicated to teaching both undergraduate and graduate students.
Your generosity, through annual unrestricted support and major gifts designated for special purposes, plays a crucial role in helping to fulfill our mission. It is both deeply appreciated and greatly needed. Donations made through the Economics Fund for Excellence enable the Department to attract and retain top faculty and students, while also supporting vital needs among both undergraduate and graduate research and education programs. Contributions are strategically allocated to cover research, equipment, and travel expenses, and they significantly add to the growth and success of the Department of Economics.
Our department's continued success depends on the generosity of our donors. Your gift, no matter how large or small, can make a difference in the opportunities for our undergraduate and graduate students. A gift of $1000 or more entitles you to membership of the Economics Leadership Council.
We are deeply grateful to the many donors who have already supported our pursuit of excellence.

Economics Giving Priorities:
Unrestricted Support
Your unrestricted gift provides the Department with flexibility to allocate funds where they are needed most.
Career Connection
Career Connection, an initiative by the Department of Economics, assists students in their transition from college to the workforce. Through professionally-oriented activities, Career Connection helps students leverage their academic training beyond the academic curriculum. This program is made possible by our generous donors.
Graduate Student Support Initiatives
Support graduate education by contributing to graduate fellowships, research travel, conference travel and fees, supplies and equipment, and tuition support.
Undergraduate Student Support Initiatives
Help insure that students receive the best training and education possible by supporting research opportunities, undergraduate fellowships and awards.
Endowed Chairs
An endowed chair is a permanent endowment created by a philanthropic gift that supports the teaching and research of the scholar. Endowed chairs help the department to recruit and retain the most distinguished scholars.
Faculty Research and Consortium Support
The Department's continued excellence depends on gifts that support consortium programming, research funding, and recruitment and retention funding.
Special Events and Infrastructure
Your support enables us to bring distinguished lecturers to the Department to the benefit of both faculty and students, as well as to renovate our facilities.
