Biography
Martin Mattsson is a PhD Candidate in Economics at Yale University. His research focuses on how formal and informal institutions shape behaviour and socioeconomic outcomes. He has completed two large-scale field experiments in Bangladesh, which study how performance scorecards can change the behavior of government bureaucrats and the effects of village courts. He is also researching the effects of the #MeToo movement on the reporting of sexual crimes to the police.
