Biography
Silvia Vannutelli is an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University. Along with this appointment, Professor Vannutelli is a Faculty Fellow at the Institute for Policy Research and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. She received her PhD in Economics from Boston University. Her research focuses on the collection of revenues and the allocation of government resources, the design of social insurance policies, and the role of institutions and political economy considerations in policy-making.
