Biography
Molly Schwarz graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics. She is currently in her 5th year of PhD studies at UCSB. Her research meets at the intersection of Labor Economics and the Economics of Education, specifically focusing on the labor market decisions of teachers. Molly is one of the founding members and former co-chairs of We Are Economics at Santa Barbara (WeSB), a graduate student group aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion in the UCSB Economics graduate student community. Molly's research was recently recommended for grant support by the National Science Foundation.
