Biography
Alec McQuilkin is an Economics PhD candidate. He completed his undergraduate studies in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and his Master's in Applied Mathematics and Economics from the University of Colorado, Denver. His research interests lie in Urban and Transportation Economics, Labor Economics, Demography, Health Economics, and Econometrics. Currently, his work is examining the spatial mismatch between the residential location of the urban poor and areas of high employment growth.
