Women in Leadership Summit 2026

The UCSB Economics Career Center proudly hosted its annual Women in Leadership Summit on April 24, 2026, bringing together students and accomplished professionals for an inspiring afternoon of conversation, mentorship, and networking. Moderated by Bree Lang, the summit provided students with the opportunity to learn from successful women leaders who shared their career journeys, leadership experiences, and advice for navigating today's professional landscape.

This year's distinguished panel featured Mehr Sharma, Finance Manager at Superhuman; Dannell Stuart, President and Partner at Mission Wealth; and Savannah Perkins, Finance Manager at Google. Each speaker offered unique insights into her professional path, highlighting the importance of resilience, continuous learning, relationship-building, and authentic leadership

Students gained valuable perspectives on careers in finance, technology, and wealth management while engaging in meaningful discussions about overcoming challenges, developing confidence, and creating opportunities for growth. Following the panel discussion, attendees participated in an informal networking session where they connected directly with the speakers, asked questions, and received personalized career advice.

This was the department's third Women in Leadership Summit.
