Undergraduate Economics student Zihao Zeng was awarded the Mortar Board Award for the 2021 school year.
The Mortar Board Award is given in recognition to the student who earned the highest cumulative GPA in the graduating class. Zeng and other student award winners were honored for their achievements on Sunday, during the university's virtual award ceremony.
Zeng is graduating this year with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He has worked with the Department as a Teaching Assistant for Data Wrangling for Economics, a Research Assistant for the Experimental and Behavioral Economics Laboratory, and has also served as an Economics and Statistics Tutor for CLAS.
