Economics Professor Dick Startz took part in a webinar hosted by the American Economics Association
Professor Dick Startz took part in a panel discussion hosted by the American Economic Association last week.
Startz, who also serves as the Department's Director of Graduate Studies, was joined by Economics scholars across the country, including John List from the University of Chicago, James Peoples from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Nancy Rose from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Danila Serra from Texas A&M University.
The panelists answered questions during the AEA webinar, "Helping Faculty Help Students get into PhD Programs in Economics."
The event was cosponsored by the Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession (CSWEP), the Committee on the Status of Minorities in the Economics Profession (CSMGEP), as well as the Committee on Economic Education (CEE).
