Stanford University's Nick Bloom to Speak at 61st Annual Carl Snyder Lecture

Economics Professor Nick Bloom is planned to speak at this year’s Carl Snyder Lecture.

Nick Bloom, an Economics professor from Stanford University, is expected to speak at UCSB’s 61st annual Carl Snyder Lecture.

Bloom is the author of "Innovation, Reallocation, and Growth." His research focuses on measuring and explaining management practices across different fields and countries around the world. At the event, he will be speaking on stock market jumps in US and International markets over the last 100 years.

The lecture will take place in the Loma Pelona Center on Thursday April 23, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
