I am an economist at the University of California, San Diego, the holder of the Anonymous Family Chancellor Endowed Chair in Macroeconomics, a Joint Managing Editor at the Review of Economic Studies, a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research.
