Namrata Kala, University of Toronto

Biography

Namrata Kala is an Assistant Professor in Applied Economics at the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. She received her PhD in Economics from Yale University and her BA in Economics from Delhi University. Her research interests are in Environmental and Development Economics. She currently is researching how firms and households learn about and adapt to environmental change and regulation, the returns to environmental technologies, and the returns to worker training and incentives.
