Biography
Cihan Artunc is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Middlebury College. He obtained his MA, M. Phil., and PhD in Economics from Yale University. His main research interests are economic history, law, and economics. Currently, he is working on legal forms of firm organization, corporate governance, firm dynamics, and the effect of legal reforms in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in Ottoman Turkey and Egypt.
