Biography

Hakan Ozyilmaz is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His dissertation, "Bounded Rationality in Consumer Choice", examines the mechanisms that underlie the departures of consumer behavior from the prescriptions of rational choice theory, exploring the ways choice environment and the cognitive architecture of the human mind affect decision making. His other interests include errors in strategic reasoning and learning with misspecified models.
