Biography

Toshio is a PhD Student in the Department of Economics at UC Santa Barbara. Prior to attending UCSB, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics (2017) from San Diego State University, as well as a Master of Arts in Economics from San Diego State University (2019).


His research focuses broadly on Public and Labor Economics. His primary interest is on the economics of policing and public safety.
