Biography
Allegra is pursuing a PhD in Economics at UCSB. Her research focuses on the role of identity in education, and assessing barriers to take-up, implementation and generalizability. Before coming to UCSB she worked for two years as a Research Associate at J-PAL Africa, where she was part of a team evaluating an intervention to overcome limited information in the labor market. She has a Master’s in Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.
