Biography
Danae is an Economics PhD Candidate working in Environmental Economics with special interest in the distributional consequences of environmental policy and environmental phenomena. Part of her research analyzes the environmental justice consequences of environmental policy such as the cap and trade program in California and the limits of industrial emissions in Mexico. Another part of her research involves analyzing how households respond to different extreme weather effects and hurricanes in terms of labor allocation and migration.
