The Teaching Assistant English Language Placement Examination (TA ELPE) is an oral exam required for all new international PhD students to certify you for sole classroom instruction.
In the Fall of 2020, the EMS Program will be administering an online placement process for incoming international students. The online process will begin in August 2020. For more information, please visit the English for Multilingual Students website.
