Biography
Juliana Helo Sarmiento is a PhD Candidate in Economics. She obtained her BA and MA in Economics from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, where she graduated cum laude in 2009. Her research interests lie Labor and Migration Economics, Environmental Economics, and Developmental Economics. In the past, she has also held appointments at institutions like Citibank, the Poverty Reduction and Equality Group, and The World Bank in Washington D.C.
