2023 Babcock Memorial Lecture featuring Hanming Fang
The Economics Department is excited to host Dr. Hanming Fang as our featured speaker for this year's Philip Babcock Memorial Lecture on October 24, 2023.
The Philip Babcock Memorial Lecture was established at the University of California, Santa Barbara to honor the vibrant legacy of UCSB Professor Philip Babcock. The lecture seeks to expose our students and the community at large to the most intriguing applications of economics. Speakers have been chosen to convey some of the joy Professor Babcock found in applying economics to the world.
Hanming Fang is Joseph M. Cohen Term Professor of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a secondary appointment at the Department of Health Care Management and the Department of Business Economics and Public Policy at the Wharton School.
