Biography
I am a labor economist studying why gender gaps in earnings persist despite decades of progress in women's education and labor force participation. My research highlights parenthood as a central source of these gaps. I study how children shape women's careers before and after birth, including how pregnancy timing, workplace flexibility, childcare, and career advice affect earnings, employment, and career progression.
