ANNOUNCEMENTS
April 20: Reminder about calculators… You are allowed a basic or scientific
calculator that does not have communicative ability on each test. Other calculators, such as those that can
graph or hold equations, are not allowed.
I will address this issue further in Wednesday’s lecture.
April 30: Test 1 solution sketches are posted under
“Old Tests.” Correct answers are bolded.
May 13: A correction has been made to the solution of
#2c on Spring 2008 Test 2. The second
line now correctly reads “Expected income is .95 (6400) + .05 (400) = 6100.”

There were many high scores
in this class, and the grades reflect this. The two highest scores on the final were 64,
and so this counted as 100%. The average
score was 48.9. Finally, all grades
stand unless there is an administrative error in determining grades.
