Gregory DeAngelo is a Visiting Professor of Economics at University of Colorado, Denver where he teaches a graduate course in Applied Microeconomics and undergraduate courses in Law and Economics and Principles of Microeconomics. He recently completed his PhD in economics from UC Santa Barbara, focusing his research in the areas of Applied Microeconomics, Law and Economics, and Experimental Economics. His three essays, entitled 'Essays on the Economic Theory of Deterrence' have all been submitted for publication and one document (co-authored with fellow graduate student Benjamin Hansen), entitled 'Life and Death in the Fast Lane: Police Enforcement and Roadway Safety' has been invited for a revise and resubmit at the Review of Economics and Statistics. His thesis committee includes Peter Rupert, Gary Charness, and Javier Birchenall.
