If you would like to add the class, the
official waitlist is at https://waitlist.ucsb.edu/
(follow the directions- then log in at
the top of the screen to the right. From the waitlist, if the add button is not
available then the department has not opened the class waitlist. You’ll have to
check back later). There is not another
list you can get on in advance.
If you have not been accepted into the econ
major since you are currently finishing classes, I’m not sure if you can get on
the waitlist at this time. You should be able to get on the waitlist when your
status has change from pre-major to acceptance into the major.
Add codes will be given to students on the
waitlist in the priority order determined by the econ department.
If you are a global studies student, talk
with me (not email) during the first week of class.
