Shelly Prauge Work Shop on Gender and Family in the Labor Market

Shelly Lundberg, the Leonard Broom Professor of Demography and Distinguished Professor of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara  gave two talks on the Educational Gender Gap in May. On May 20th, at CERGE-EI in Prague Professor Lundberg presented "Family Environment During Childhood and the Educational Gender Gap." She also gave a keynote address on "Aspirations and the Educational Gender Gap" at the Society of Economics of the Household conference at the Lisbon School of Economics and Management on May 28th. 

This workshop aims to bring together researchers working on topics related to gender and family in the labor market. The goal is to create a regional platform for research on this topic. Submission is open to all researchers, but submissions of researchers from the CEE region are especially welcome. All aspects of gender and family-related issues in the labor market are of interest.
