The Department of Economics invites applications for four or more positions, including the Richard F. Aster Jr. Endowed Chair. The positions are open to all fields with priorities in environmental, macroeconomics, and public economics.

• Applicants for the Richard F. Aster Jr. Endowed chair should apply to JPF01083, http://recruit.ap.ucsb.edu/apply/JPF01083. A complete application will include a CV and letter of intent. Review of completed applications will begin October 27, 2017 and continue until the position is filled. We invite applicants at the associate and full levels.

• Applicants with a Ph.D. should apply to JPF01082, http://recruit.ap.ucsb.edu/apply/JPF01082. A complete application will include a CV and a letter of intent. Review of completed applications will begin October 22, 2017 and continue until the position is filled. We invite applicants at the assistant and associate levels.

• A complete application to job JPF01081, http://recruit.ap.ucsb.edu/apply/JPF01081, will include a CV, letter of intent, sample(s) of research and three reference letters. Review of completed applications will begin December 1, 2017 and continue until the position is filled. We will be interviewing at the AEA meetings in Philadelphia in January as well as alternate locations.

• Applicants expecting to complete a Ph.D. this academic year should apply to both JPF01082 and JPF01081.
