  • Dates: 3 - 4 Apr, 2019 1:00 PM - 12:15 PM
  • Address: The Upham Hotel (1404 De La Vina St)

The Laboratory for Aggregate Economics and Finance (LAEF) at the University of California, Santa Barbara is please to host the Housing-Urban-Labor-Macro (HULM) conference at the Upham Hotel Garden room which is located at 1404 De La Vina Street in Santa Barbara. It brings together top researchers working on housing and real estate topics and their broader interaction in the macroeconomy. The main two objectives of HULM are to (a) identify the frontier of research as it pertains to housing and real estate; and (b) facilitate conversations among economists studying housing or real estate and that typically do not have the opportunity to interact. The conference is being organized by Morris Davis, Professor in the Department of Finance and Economics at Rutgers University and Carlos Garriga, Vice President of Economic Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
