Information for Participants

• The conference presentations and discussions will take place in the UCSB University Center (UCen) Harbor Room on Friday and Saturday.
• Conference participants staying at the South Coast Inn can arrange with the hotel to get a shuttle ride to the University and back both days of the conference.
  
• Most of the participants will be staying at the South Coast Inn .
  
• Friday night's dinner will be at the Zaffiro restaurant.

Directions to the South Coast Inn and UCSB from LAX:
Start out going North on Sepulveda Blvd
Stay in the right lane
Turn Right onto Howard Hughes Pkwy and continue downhill.
Howard Hughes Pwky becomes a freeway ramp
Merge onto I-405 N
Take the US-101 exit toward Ventura / Los Angeles
Merge onto US-101 North exit toward Ventura
For the South Coast Inn-->,
Take the Patterson Ave. exit from the US-101 North
Turn right onto N Patterson Ave.
Take the first left onto Calle Real.
Arrive at 5620 Calle Real.
For UCSB -->
Exit on the CA-217 from the US-101 North, and stay in the left lane until you see the parking kiosk at the east gate.
They will provide you with a map and parking pass, and tell you where to find parking near the UCen.
The Harbor Room is on the bottom floor, behind the restaurants.
The Mission Room is on the main floor, behind the Gaucho Deli.

Directions to South Coast Inn from Santa Barbara Airport:
Turn left onto Moffett Pl.
Follow Moffet Pl. to the right as it becomes Fowler Rd.
Follow Fowler Rd. to the left as it becomes S Fairview Ave.
Go over the 101 Freeway and follow S Fairview Ave. left (stay in right lane) as it becomes N Fairview Ave.
Turn right on Calle Real.
Arrive at 5620 Calle Real.

Directions to UCSB from Santa Barbara Airport:
Exit the Airport and go right on Moffett Pl.
Turn left onto Ward Memorial Blvd./CA-217 South towards UCSB
Stop at the east gate parking kiosk to get a map, parking pass and directions to the UCen

Directions to Zaffiro from the South Coast Inn.
Start at 5620 Calle Real going west towards Fairview Ave.
Turn left on Fairview Ave. and stay in the leftmost turn lane.
Merge onto the US-101 North.
Take the Glen Annie/Storke Rd exit.
Turn left onto N Glen Annie Rd.
Continue straight as N Glen Annie Rd. becomes Storke Rd.
After Hollister Rd. take the next right on Santa Felicia Dr. (into the shopping center).
Turn right towards McDonalds and Zaffiro in the next restaurant on the right.
